Our greatest needs right now are:
A backup generator
A 1-ton split heat/ac unit for the large bird room
Following are items we always need:
Cages / Play stands / Play gyms
Toys--for both large and small birds
Perches--all sizes and types (wood, rope, concrete)
Sheets and towels--Queen or King size to cover cages at bedtime and any size towels
Crepe Myrtle branches, approximately 1 inch around or larger. Pesticide free please!
Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE)
Paper Towels
Gift certificates to Lowe's or Home Depot (for untreated wood to make toys)
Food:
Zupreem fruity or natural pellets
Parrot blend mix without sunflower seeds
Nuts in the shell--almonds, pecans, walnuts, pine nuts
Organic fruits and vegetables
Fresh frozen vegetables
Gift certificates to grocery store--WalMart, Kroger, Publix
Full spectrum lighting bulbs--4 feet
